April 14: The Jaguars' game with the Lakers could be a primer for another postseason Section 3 showdown.

Bloomington Jefferson returns a strong core of players from last year’s state championship runner-up team, including senior attacker Ryan Graff (57 goals, 44 assists, 101 points).

Graff, selected to the All-American team by the state coaches association, isn’t the only offensive threat coming back to the Jaguars.

Senior attacker Weiland Parrish (26-14-40) adds a second scoring option up front, while senior midfielder Jay Johnson (19-5-24) stabilizes the middle of the field.

Star Tribune All-Metro First Team member and All-American Jack Dessler is a faceoff specialist for Prior Lake, and his work on draws can make a difference in close games.

The amount of talent returning to the field for both teams is enough to make this a must-see game. Considering the Jaguars ended the Lakers' season in the Section 3 playoffs last year, this matchup is an easy pick for the Top Game of the Week.
