Lakeville North took the top seed for the boys' lacrosse state tournament while Eden Prairie received the No. 1 spot in the girls' bracket.

The Panthers defeated rival Lakeville South 9-7 to win the Section 1 title and earn their third consecutive trip to state, which kicks off June 14 at Minnetonka High School.
The defending girls' lacrosse state champion Eagles are making their 10th consecutive trip to state, having never missed the event since the Minnesota State High School League sanctioned the sport in 2007. Including last year, Eden Prairie has won three state titles and finished second five times.
