UMD, Lavin Lacrosse announce coaches clinic

Event will be held Jan. 15 at Breck High School

In conjuction with Lavin Lacrosse and the University of Minnesota Duluth coaching staff, we are proud to announce our 1st Annual 2011 Coaches Clinic. 

This one day event will include presentations by coaches with several years of youth, high school, and college playing and coaching experience.  Presentors include:

Frank Clark - Head Coach - University of Minnesota Duluth Mens Lacrosse Team.

Rob Graff - Former Head Coach - University of Minnesota Duluth Mens Lacrosse Team.

Troy Hood - Former Head Coach - Lindenwood University Mens Lacrosse Team and owner of 20/20 Sports Vision, a youth sports consulting company.

Sam Litman - Defensive Coordiantor and Goalie Coach - University of Minnesota Duluth Mens Lacrosse Team.
 

Coaches Clinic Topics Will Include:
- Offensive Strategies
- Team Defense and Goalie Play
- Creating the dominant attackman
- One on One Defense - Do's and Dont's
- The Hybrid Offense
- "Teach them to play, Not plays."

This event will have specific, individualized focuses on the development of players that are beneficial at any level of lacrosse.

This clinic is a great option for lacrosse coaches at every level.  Whether just starting out with little knowledge of the game to those who are leading their teams to state titles, every coach will leave with more knowledge than they came. 

With every registration, each participant will recieve a COACHES GIFT BAG including literature about information covered, coupons to local businesses and sponsors, and coaching accessories they can take directly to the field!

Where: Breck High School, Minneapolis, MN (123 Ottawa Avenue North)

Time: 9:00am to 1:00pm
