Eden Prairie (2-0, 2-0) and Blake (2-0) maintained the No. 1 and 2 spots in the most recent Minnesota Girls Lacrosse Coaches' Association poll, but a major shakeup occured after Stillwater, ranked third in the preseason poll, dropped an 11-8 decision to Edina and followed that up with a 7-6 loss to Farmington to open the season.

Apple Valley (3-0, 1-0) jumped three slots, overtaking the third spot after notching three wins last week, including an 18-11 victory over the fifth-ranked Hornets.

Prior Lake (2-0) held its place at No. 4 and will have a chance to overtake the Eagles' ranking on Thursday when the Lakers host Apple Valley at 7 p.m.

Minnetonka (2-2) slid to No. 6 in the poll after dropping a 7-4 loss to the Prior Lake and a 10-7 decision to its Lake Conference counterpart Edina.

Chanhassen had two wins under its belt before the Storm (2-1) took the Lakers the distance in an airtight 9-8 loss last Thursday, earning some respect and the No. 7 spot.

The Tigers (3-0) launched themselves into notoriety with the win over Stillwater, earning them the No. 8-ranking after not making the preseason list.

The Ponies (0-2) and Lakeville South (2-1) round out the top 10, followed by Cretin-Derham Hall. The Raiders (1-1) will aim to take Stillwater's rank in their matchup Tuesday.
