Anoka and Maple Grove square off in this marquee matchup in the Northwest Suburban Conference, a generally underrated league when compared to the South Suburban and Lake Conferences.

The Tornadoes (4-0, 3-0), ranked No. 9 in the state coaches’ poll, enter this game powered by an offense led by senior midfielder Ollie Nigh (13-3-16), a scoring whiz who also rushed for 1,230 yards and 11 touchdowns last fall for Anoka's football team.

Nigh and fellow senior Preston Olson (10-4-14) work with junior attacker Jack Savini (12-2-14) to pace an offense that has outscored opponents 61-22 in four games.

Maple Grove senior attacker Jack Dugan (19-7-26) also suited up for his school’s football team and finished with 632 receiving yards and six touchdown catches.

His play this spring has given the Crimson (5-0, 4-0) a dominant offense, one that contributed to victories in the last two games by a combined score of 35-3.

The pair of dual-sport standouts in Nigh and Dugan will share the spotlight in this conference battle, making this our pick for Top Game of the Week.
