It's been six seasons since Benilde-St. Margaret's made a trip to the state tournament, a run that resulted in the Red Knights' third state championship.

The drought may come to an end this year as Benilde-St. Margaret's seems to have a lineup equipped for a return to state.

Junior attacker Eric Weber paces the team in scoring with nine goals and 20 points, followed by freshman attacker Jack VanOverbeke (11-8-19), and the duo has helped the Red Knights (7-0, 3-0) climb to No. 3 in the coaches' poll and to the top of the Metro West Conference standings

Chanhassen may have the offense to hand Benilde-St. Margaret's its first loss of the season. The No. 10 Storm (6-1, 2-0) have 94 goals, and leading the way is junior attacker Cole Grindberg (23-12-35). Two other players have 30 or more points for the Chanhassen, which is second the Metro West standings.

Tuesday's clash between undefeated Benilde-St. Margaret's and high-scoring Chanhassen is our pick for the Top Game of the Week.
