Girls' lacrosse highlights: May 8-16

Eloise Cherian and Natalie Ott each scored three times to help propel Breck past Benilde-St. Margaret's.

May 11

Farmington 14, Eastview 10. With the win Farmington improves to 9-1, and extends its win streak to four straight games. Ashley Steffes scored five goals in the win, and teammate Kamryn Corraro scored four. Goaltender Lexie Grove earned her fifth win of the season. Eastview’s Allie Tuccitto scored twice and had three assists. Marissa Munos had a hat-trick in the win, and goaltender Brielle Walter had seven saves.

May 11

Breck 12, Benilde-St. Margaret’s 9. Breck extended its winning streak to four games after defeating Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Breck’s leading scorer Eloise Cherian brought her season goal total to 24 with a hat trick, while teammate Natalie Ott also had three goals. Mustangs goaltender Sophia Cherian had six saves to earn her fourth win of the season. Emma Lindahl and Maria DeCesare each had a hat trick for the Red Knights, while goaltender Mandy Nylander made seven saves.

May 12

Breck 10, Blaine 7. Breck extended its win streak to five straight games. Lauren Kozikowski led Breck with four goals. Teammate Eloise Cherian contributed with a hat-trick, and goaltender Allie Murphy earned her fifth win of the season and had eight saves. Blaine’s Gabby Rosenthal scored two and assisted two, and Abby Jones recorded two goals and an assist.

May 16

Cretin-Derham Hall 12, Roseville 7. No.9-4A Cretin-Derham Hall was down 5-4 going into the second half, but came back with eight runs to take and hold the lead. The Raiders improve to 7-2 and this is the sixth straight win. Megan Reis led the Raider offense with three goals and an assist, and teammate Maya Quigley also had a hat-trick and an assist. Roseville’s Anna Peine had a hat-trick, and teammate Hannah Distad had a goal and two assists.
