Girls' lacrosse Player of the Week revealed

Player of the Week winner

Olivia Konigson, Stillwater: Konigson scored 12 goals to help the Ponies cruise to victories over Suburban East Conference foes Mounds View and White Bear Lake. The senior midfielder has 42 goals this season.

Player of the Week candidates

Samantha Galinson, Hopkins: The senior forward racked up 16 goals in four games as the Royals went 2-2. Galinson has been held scoreless just three times this season.

Molly Busch, Eagan: Busch totaled nine goals and 19 points in three games, including five goals and 10 points in a 22-21 loss to Bloomington Jefferson on May 15.

Chloe Fisher, Lakeville North: The freshman forward continued an impressive campaign with five goals and 10 points for the Panthers, who defeated South Suburban Conference rival Burnsville and fell to East Ridge.

Helen Nelson, Coon Rapids: In three victories last week, Nelson recorded 12 goals and 17 points for the Cardinals. Nelson ranks second in the Northwest Suburban Conference with 44 goals this season.
