Eastview remains the highest ranked team in the state after beating Eagan last week.

There wasn’t much movement in the rankings this week, and the top three look exactly the same.

Eastview still holds the No. 1 spot as it has yet to lose a game this season. Last week the Lightning (12-0, 8-0) thrived despite a tough schedule, beating Prior Lake (9-3, 6-2), which was ranked seventh at the time, 10-7 last Tuesday. They followed that up with a 12-7 win over No. 2 Eagan (11-1, 7-1), handing the Wildcats their first loss of the season. Junior Joe Stillings had a good week for Eastview, scoring five goals and assisting on four others in the two games.

Mahtomedi (12-1, 6-0) was the only team to move more than one spot this week, as it jumped from sixth to No. 4. The Zephyrs have won their last five games, a streak that started with a 11-10 victory over No. 10 Tartan (10-2, 5-1) on May 9. They beat No. 8 Prior Lake 9-8 on May 13, and followed that up with two wins last week.

The regular season has wrapped up for most teams, but ninth-ranked Maple Grove (12-0, 11-0) still has to play at Coon Rapids (0-11, 0-10) to potentially cap its undefeated season.
