Boys' lacrosse Player of the Week winner revealed

Player of the Week winner

Christian Johnson, Bloomington Kennedy: The senior attacker scored five goals and added five assists as the Eagles defeated St. Louis Park and Robbinsdale Cooper by a combined score of 44-5 on May 23 and May 25 respectively. 

Player of the Week candidates

Mike Kahler, Providence Academy: Kahler racked up 12 goals and 15 points as the Lions scored wins over St. Cloud and Hutchinson in the past week. Kahler's 47 goals rank fourth in the state. 

Duncan Flemming, TrIMAC: The freshman recorded four goals and seven points in games against Hill-Murray and St. Paul last week, running his season total to 23 goals and 31 points.  

Sam Pearson, Minneapolis: In a 20-8 win over Breck on May 23, Pearson helped pace Minneapolis with five goals and six points. The freshman midfielder now has 19 goals on the season. 

Carter Compton, Osseo/Park Center: Compton, a junior, tallied five goals and an assist as OPC earned wins over Northwest Suburban Conference opponents Champlin Park and Centennial last week.
