June ushers in summer but also the section playoffs, where regular-season accolades are left in the past but not left unnoticed.

Eden Prairie's Naomi Rogge, who is committed to play hockey for Minnesota-Duluth next winter, tallied 90 points as the state’s second-leading points scorer and was named Player of the Year by the Minnesota Girls’ Lacrosse Coaches Association on May 31.

She was a vital piece of the two-time defending state champion's juggernaut offense -- one that saw Eden Prairie, ranked No. 1 in the state coaches' poll, rack up a state-high 234 goals in 13 games against a grueling schedule.

Rogge is one of four Eagles to earn All-State and All-American honors this season, the most of any team in the state.

Third-ranked Apple Valley boasts a second-best two All-Americans in Louisville commit Molly Moynihan and Naval Academy recruit Reagan Roelofs.

In all, 52 players were All-State selections this season, while 13 players among the list were selected as All-Americans.
