The growing popularity of lacrosse in the Duluth area likely will lead to a jump from club to varsity status, accoarding to Duluth Denfeld athletic director Tom Pearson.

Grand Cities team featured in ESPN
The Grand Cities' Predators lacrosse team based out of Grand Forks, N.D., begins its first season on April 13.
The Predators' schedule consists of 16 games and will include road trips to Providence Academy in Plymouth and to Duluth.
