Team Summary

How did 2009 end? The Eagles lost by one goal to eventual state champion Minnetonka in a section final.

Prediction for 2010: A deep Eden Prairie team is led by a loaded junior class that has years of experience playing together. Rugged section includes Minnetonka and Wayzata.

Offense is lead by: Mitch Hugdahl, one of the state's top all-round midfielders. The Eagles are deep at midfield with three solid lines. Eden Prairie's savvy attack unit that can score in many different ways and the Eagles are strong on face-offs with four capable draw men.

Defense is lead by: Curt Rau, Bennett Johnson, Ben Gavin -- good athletes who compliment one another. The Eagles are versatile in how they can adjust to and counter opponent’s strengths.

Goaltending: Jared Klapperich is technically sound and, as a result, does not let in easy goals. He has great stick skills and is good at clearing the ball.
