Youth Scheduling - 9/10 and 7/8 North

7/8 grades North scheduling will be at 9:00 AM. 9/10 grades scheduling will be at 10:30 AM. Park in Lot B and walk to the north end of the building on the first floor. At the entrance to the Sports Hall, take the flight of stairs up and the classroom door is on your right. If Lot B is full, you can park in the Main Lot and walk south down the sidewalk on the west side of the stadium, entering on the second floor. Classroom door straight ahead.

US Lacrosse Level 1 Coaches Clinic

For boys' and girls' coaches. This program includes classroom and on field training. Learn from some of the nation's best trainers and coaches. The cost of the program is $65 w/o lunch or $75 w/ lunch. COACHES! MBSLA MANDATORY RULES MEETING

University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Auditorium
This meeting is required for at least one coach from every team in the 2012 MBSLA's spring season. Coaches need to bring a current US Lacrosse Coaches Membership Number and proof of concussion training (Copy of your certificate). If you do not have a current US Lacrosse number or you are not sure. Visit: www.uslacrosse.org to sign up or renew your membership. You can take a FREE concussion course online at: www.nfhslearn.com if you have not done so already to obtain your certificate. A Short general meeting afterward, including elections for 2013 season. Coaching clinic afterward, optional, but free lunch. Attending this meeting will also qualify for YLM's coaching requirements.

Mandatory Rules Meeting

9 AM, March 10, University of St. Thomas, St. Paul

Hour and a half rules meeting must be attended by at least one coach from every team in the MBSLA. (If you have two 7/8 teams, then two coaches must attend for that league) A make up session is possible if absolutely necessary, but it is your responsibiliy to set it up with Kevin Reed. Signing a Code of Conduct at the rules meeting is needed for proof of attendance.

All coaches must turn in a Code of Conduct and take an online concussion course before the season starts. If attending the meeting, coaches should take the concussion course before the meeting, print out the certificate and bring it to turn in.

Half-hour MBSLA general meeting follows. Includes elections for the board for the 2013 season.

Coaches clinic starting at 11 AM with keynote speaker, free lunch at noon, and two tracks of two sessions each at 12:15 and 1:30. Details to come.

$200 for Varsity, $100 for each team at all other levels.

Ref Fees
$400 for 9/10 ref fees. Game fee went up to $40.
$350 for 7/8.
$280 for 5/6 and 3/4. They play 8-game seasons.
