Blaine at Maple Grove
7 p.m., Friday, April 24

Blaine (38 goals) and Maple Grove (31) begin the week as the Northwest Suburban Conference's second- and third-highest scoring teams. Only Andover, with 48, has scored more goals.

A pair of juniors lead Blaine (3-0, 3-0), with attackman John Hicke (12-11-23) and midfielder Alec Larson (9-5-14) stoking the offense. The Bengals' defense is equally adept, holding opponents to a total of nine goals.

Maple Grove (2-0, 2-0) has defeated conference foes Anoka (17-12) and Centennial (14-6), and the Crimson may have the offense blitz Blaine (3-0, 3-0).

Sophomore attackmen Matt Sivanich (seven goals), Jack Kelly (6-2-8) tand Hunter House have accounted for more than half of Maple Grove's goals, while senior Jake Willson (4-4-8, nine ground balls) stabilizes the midfield for the Crimson.
