Prior Lake at Mahtomedi

Prior Lake made a statement with a 12-6 win over Blake, and the Lakers (1-0) could make another with a victory at unbeaten Mahtomedi. 

Junior midfielder and Air Force Academy commit Ben Ward scored six goals, while sophomore attackman Carter Collins and senior midfielder Cullen Sowder each scored twice against Blake.  

With their 13-3 victory over Stillwater on April 18, the Zephyrs (2-0) sent a message that they are a team to be reckoned with in the east metro. 

Hat tricks from junior midfielder Cole Sellman and junior attackman Matt Schwartz helped sparked the victory over the Ponies.
