Minnetonka at Wayzata
5:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 28

Wayzata could pull into a tie with Minnetonka for second place in the Lake Conference with victory on Tuesday.

Most of the Trojans' scoring comes from two junior midfielders, as Haley Schmidt has a team-high 18 goals and junior Meg Ransom has 14. Ransom can thwart opponents' offensive attacks with equal deftness, amassing 19 ground balls for Wayzata (3-1, 1-1).

No. 7 Minnetonka also relies on its midfielders for offense, as sophomore Anna DiFrancesco (10-5-15) and seniors Erin McGinnis (7-8-15) and Annika Samuelson (nine goals) lead the Skippers (3-1, 2-1) in goals.
