Lakeville North at Lakeville South
5:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 12

Lakeville North's four losses have been by a combined 11 goals, and the Panthers were defeated in three games by teams ranked in the top 10 (No. 3 Wayzata, No. 6 Eden Prairie and No. 7 Chanhassen).

Senior attackman Roman Rohrbach (23-24-47) has been a consistent producer for No. 12 Lakeville North (6-4, 5-1), as has junior midfielder Luke Anderson (18-9-27) and senior attackman Ryan Bissonett (17-10-27), who both need to take on more prominent roles if the Panthers want to win those close games.

Lakeville South (9-1, 5-1) has clawed its way to No. 8 in the rankings thanks to a four-game winning streak, a run started after a 9-7 loss to No. 4 Rosemount on April 30. Junior attackman Donovan Dempsey has shown a knack for scoring goals, notching six in a 13-3 win over Burnsville on April 24.

With these crosstown rivals tied for second place in the South Suburban Conference and battling for a high seed in the Section 1 standings, expect the intensity level to be ramped for this rivalry game.
