Blaine at Champlin Park
6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 13

This is Blaine's week to make a move in the Northwest Suburban Conference standings. Whether the Bengals go up or down depends on the outcomes of critical games with Robbinsdale Armstrong and No. 11 Champlin Park.

Blaine (7-1, 7-1) is tied for second behind the league-leading Rebels and just ahead of the Falcons, a position the Bengals hope to change for the better heading in the final week of the regular season. Juniors John Hicke (26-22-48) and Alec Larson (18-8-26) pace the high-scoring Blaine offense.

Five players have 10 or more goals for Champlin Park, showcasing its balance and depth of the offense. Senior attackmen Justin Linderholm (15-7-22) and Nick Bunde (13-9-22) and senior midfielders Mason Schmitt (15 goals) and Tyler Smith (13 goals) carry most of the scoring load for Rebels (8-0, 8-0), who are currently atop the Section 7 standings with a one-game advantage on the Bengals.
