Bloomington Kennedy at Bloomington Jefferson
6 p.m., Tuesday, May 19

Bloomington Kennedy has never beaten crosstown rival Bloomington Jefferson, but the Eagles (8-2, 3-1) have never had the kind of firepower they bring into this matchup with the Jaguars.

Seniors Shaun Van Sloun (27-25-52) and Grant Skophammer (28-10-38) combine with junior Derek Mendel (18-10-28) and sophomore Adam Vodovnik (17 goals) to give Bloomington Kennedy the type of balanced attack it needs to keep pace with Bloomington Jefferson, which boasts one of the state's top offenses (148 goals).

The No. 2 Jaguars (11-0, 5-0) overwhelm opponents not only with offense, but also depth, as five players have 13 or more goals.

Junior attackman Ryan Graff (29-23-52) can break open any game, while senior attackman Joey Eggleston (28-18-46) is equally as dangerous. Senior midfielder Malik Ekpenyong (21 goals) has a shot that eludes both defenders and goaltenders.

The Eagles enter this Metro West Conference matchup riding a four-game winning streak and look to close the gap in the standings on the league-leading Jaguars.
