Cretin-Derham Hall at Benilde-St. Margaret's
7 p.m., Wednesday, May 20

Mid-May has been a boon for Cretin-Derham Hall, which has won three consecutive contests after opening the month on a three-game skid.

The Raiders offense has bloomed during the run with 36 goals, compared to just 17 scored during the losing streak.

Senior midfielder Sheala Osborne is the Suburban East Conference's top point scorer with 54 and third-leading goal scorer with 31. Senior forward Monica Whaley (18-17-35) gives the Raiders a second scoring option.

Benilde-St. Maragret’s (5-4) schedule included games against the state's current top three ranked teams. The Red Knights, however, did not defeat any, losing to No. 1 Blake, No. 2 Eden Prairie and No. 3 Lakeville South.

A victory over Cretin-Derham Hall could boost Benilde-St. Margaret's confidence heading into the postseason.

Senior forward Sydney Liebl (35 goals) and senior midfielder Allie Coughlin (19 goals, 19 ground balls) lead a Red Knights team that has been outscored 49-35 in the second half of games.
