Top-ranked Eden Prairie boasts a potent offense, but the Eagles are proving they are not one-dimensional.

Captains Lindsay Weliver and Payton Borg command a dynamite defense that averages a mere 4.5 goals allowed per game and has limited its opponents to seven goals or less in every contest.

Junior forward Sammie Morton leads the Eagles (6-0, 5-0) with 29 goals, and senior forward Sara Woodring has a team-high 36 points. 

Sixth-ranked Minnetonka (5-3, 3-2) dropped back-to-back games last week, falling to Lake Conference rival Edina and Maple Grove.

Forwards Savannah Bhojwani (12-9-21) and Kelli Cole (10 goals) pair with midfielder Anna Mott (11-6-17) to give the Skippers balance and depth on offense.
