Apple Valley is cruising through its schedule, with its only detour coming in a 15-14 loss to No. 2 Prior Lake on April 26.

Thursday's South Suburban Conference matchup with Rosemount could be another bump in the road for an Eagles team looking to run down the Lakers in the league title chase.

Four players have 23 or more points for Apple Valley, led by sisters Katie (26-4-30) and Molly Moynihan (21-9-30). They have helped the Eagles (6-1, 4-1) outscore league opponents 73-30 this season. 

A win over the No. 5 Apple Valley could provide a u-turn on the season for Rosemount, which has lost three straight after starting 4-1. 

Midfielders Darby Henjum (27-8-35) and Maggie Moeller (21-10-31) lead the Irish (4-4, 1-3) in scoring.
