Chanhassen vs. Prior Lake
5 p.m., Thursday, April 20

Last year Chanhassen won its first league title after compiling a 5-1 record in the Metro West Conference. The Storm ended with a 10-5 overall record, but fell 20-17 to Minnetonka in the Section 2 semifinals.

This year Erica Peterson (29-20-49) should be Chanassen's quarterback, with plenty of scoring talent to set up, especially a trio of juniors in Rowan Hodgins (25-6-31), Emma Silbernagel (15-10-25) and Kelly Walstad (16-10-26). Emilee Anderson is back in net for the Storm, ranked No. 10 by the state coaches' association, after posting a .556 save percentage a season ago.

Prior Lake is coming off a fourth-place finish at state and has four of its top scorers back on the roster, led by junior Lexi Peer (47-13-60). Sarah Pierson (34-14-48) and Jordan Anderson (19-3-22) are expected to take on bigger roles this spring for the No. 4 Lakers.
