Delano at Rogers
6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 16

The number of opportunities for Greater West Metro Lacrosse Conference teams to hand rival Rogers its first league loss are shrinking now that the regular season is winding down.

Delano is next in line and enters the week with a combination of scoring and momentum that could result in an upset of the Royals.

The Tigers (6-2, 3-1) feature the league’s second-highest goal scorer in junior attacker Mitchell Durst (23-13-36), who has paced Delano on its four-game winning streak -- one that has seen the team outscore each opponent by at least six goals.

Rogers (7-1, 5-0) has won five straight -- all conference games -- since the start of May, including last Friday's 10-5 victory over Monticello.

The Royals rely on senior attacker Riley Lamberger (13-18-31) and junior midfielder Michael VanStelten (13-7-20) for offensive firepower.
