Breck vs. Edina

5:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 17

Game is canceled

Breck will be looking to start off its season with a bit of revenge for a 10-9 loss to Edina just before the end of the regular season, and the Mustangs have the talent coming back to reverse that result when the teams meet on Tuesday.

Eloise Cherian led Breck with 39 goals and 12 assists last season, and with the return of fellow junior Natalie Ott (24 goals, 11 assists), the Mustangs should have some elite firepower.

It's what they need to keep up with a Hornets team led by Haley Reeck, who will be terrifying defenses for a long, long time. Reeck led the team with 38 goals last season as an eighth grader and will be looking to increase that number with a year of varsity experience. Loli Fidler is another returning threat for the Hornets after finishing with 27 goals and 10 assists last season. The combined threat of Reeck and Fidler will keep defenses honest and should allow the offense to flow.
