Minneapolis vs. Duluth

7:30 p.m., Friday, April 27

Minneapolis makes its annual trip to the North Shore, where the city team plays two games against outstate rivals. Friday’s matchup against Duluth has intrigue following last year’s 7-6 decision in favor of Minneapolis.

Nate Harmon was a stalwart in the Minneapolis net against Duluth last spring, stopping 16 of 22 shots to keep the game close. Minneapolis also returns Peyton Krause, who tallied two goals and two assists in last year’s contest.

The Wolfpack (1-0), coming off a 9-2 victory over Grand Rapids last Wednesday, lost just one piece of its attack and returns Jacob Herold. The senior midfielder notched a hat trick in last year’s meeting with Minneapolis and will be leaned on to break through against Harmon.
