Holy Angels vs.

Minnehaha Academy

12 p.m., Saturday, May 12

Holy Angels has had a mixed bag of a season. In every win, the Stars have scored more than 10 goals and have allowed six or less; while every loss has come as a result of allowing more than 10 goals and scoring less than five.

Scoring is mostly done by committee for the Stars (3-3, 1-0), with Paige Tambornino leading the team with eight goals.

Holy Angels has shown the ability to control games already this season, and the Stars will need to be their absolute best if they are going to slow down Minnehaha Academy and its rolling offense.

Chloe Heiting is tied for fourth in the state in goals, leading the No. 10 Redhawks (5-1, 1-1) with 24 on the season. Her sister, Grace Heiting, is the team's assist leader with 14, good for third in the state.

Minnehaha Academy has lost only to No. 4 Blake (23-10 on April 27) and has not scored less than 10 goals in a game, an indication that the Stars could have a real issue in the contest.

If Holy Angels can find a way to control the Redhawks' potent offense, the Stars will have a real chance to pull an upset. If Minnehaha Academy can turn the game into a track meet, the Redhawks should be able to outstrip Holy Angels.
