Champlin Park vs. Duluth

1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 19

Champlin Park is positioned for a top-four seed in the Section 7 playoffs, and a win over undefeated Duluth could catapult the Rebels into the No. 1 seed. It would also avenge a 10-4 postseason loss to the Wolfpack from a year ago.

Cody Iserman has been stalwart in the Champlin Park net, stopping 71 percent of the shots he’s faced this spring. He’ll look to remain stout for the Rebels (4-1, 3-1) against a Wolfpack team that’s averaged 13.6 goals per game in its past three contests. Jackson Hill leads Duluth (7-0) with 18 goals and seven assists in the first six games of the season.

The Wolfpack have yet to advance beyond the section quarterfinals, so securing a strong seeding will be paramount for Duluth to overcome that hurtle. And a victory on Saturday should improve the Wolfpack's seeding.
