Coon Rapids vs. Duluth

6 p.m. Friday, May 3

Duluth opponents have struggled to slow Jorja Schooler. The junior is among the state leaders in goals after scoring 29 times to help Duluth start the season with a 4-1 record.

The most impressive display of Schooler's offensive talent came in a 19-9 win against Brainerd on April 20, when she scored 10 goals and registered one assist.

Containing Schooler and Duluth's high-powered offensive attack will be the challenge facing Section 7 foe Coon Rapids on Friday.

The Cardinals seek their first win of the season after falling to Northwest Suburban Conference opponents Maple Grove 14-7 on April 22 and Blaine 13-9 on April 24.

Rowan Thom leads the offense for Coon Rapids (0-2, 0-2) with six goals.
