Duluth vs. Forest Lake

7:15 p.m., Wednesday, May 1

In just its fourth season as a Minnesota State High School League program, Duluth has quickly become a team to watch. Metro lacrosse fans get a chance to see the Wolfpack up close and on the prowl for a victory when Duluth visits Forest Lake on Wednesday.

Duluth dropped its first game of the season (8-7 to Woodbury) but has been lights out since.

The Wolfpack (4-1) will likely rely on junior attackman Jayden Erie — who has has tallied four goals in each of his past two games — for the scoring that should keep the Rangers at bay.

Forest Lake has had a rough go of it early this season, but it will have plenty of chances to pick itself back up this week. The Rangers (1-2, 0-2) have four games in as many days, including the matchup against Duluth.

One bright spot for Forest Lake has been junior attackman Triston Brtek, who scored three goals in the Rangers' first win of the season — an 11-6 victory over Hill-Murray on April 16.
