Hill-Murray vs. Mahtomedi

7 p.m. Friday, May 17

The last time Hill-Murray faced Mahtomedi, the Pioneers recorded a 13-12 victory on May 1.

The win helped Hill-Murray remain undefeated and put the team in first place in the Metro East Conference standings. Another victory Friday could cement the Pioneers' place as the lead car in race for the league title.

Buoyed by its explosive attack, Hill-Murray (9-0, 6-0) is averaging more than 16 goals per game this season, with five players who have scored 20 or more goals, led by Caitlin O'Gary (29).

Mahtomedi (6-2, 3-1) has nearly kept pace with rival Hill-Murray in the race for the Metro East crown and could pull even with a victory.

Ellie Guzzo has helped keep the Zephyrs offense revving this season, scoring 22 goals.
