Monticello, Buffalo and Rogers are within a game of each other in the league standings at the start of this week. Monticello's only blemish on the season was an 11-7 loss to St. Michael-Albertville last week, so a victory over visiting Buffalo on Friday would go a long way toward helping the Magic (7-1, 4-1) make the other title contenders disappear.

Buffalo (8-0, 4-0) is headed into this week hoping to keep its undefeated record intact and its sights set on securing the conference title. A victory Friday should propel the Bison to the front of the pack.
