Top Performer winner

Emily Moes, Lakeville South. The eighth grader who plays midfield put on an impressive offensive display last week — generating 11 points (eight goals, three assists) in Lakeville South's 21-2 win at Farmington on May 7. Moes, the seventh-highest goal-scorer in the state, scored another 12 points in her next two appearances.

Top performer candidates

Jailee Hendrickson, Park of Cottage Grove. The senior made eight saves on 14 shots in a May 7 win over Cretin-Derham Hall. Hendrickson followed that performance with 11 saves two days later, as her team downed Mounds View in a 9-8 contest.

Ainslea Jensen, Hutchinson. Jensen facilitated Hutchinson's offense and produced 16 assists in three games last week. She recorded eight assists, her highest single-game total this season, in her team's victory over Southwest Christian on May 7. The junior leads the state with 34 assists.

Hailee Orhn, Grand Rapids/Greenway. Orhn was the focal point of her team's attack, and she contributed to 18 of its 25 points last week. She tallied five goals and an assist in a 9-5 triumph over Hermantown/Proctor on May 7, then scored a season-high eight goals against Duluth on May 9, though her team lost 15-12.

Jayden Perry, Buffalo. With 11 points in three wins, Perry's highlight performance came on May 9 at St. Michael-Albertville. Perry fired in four goals and dished out two assists to help earn a 13-9 win. Buffalo remains undefeated this season with an 8-0 record.
