And the winner is...MN Boys' Lacrosse Hub Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the top performer from April 26 - May 1.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Lacrosse Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Nolan Rinzel, Park of Cottage Grove. Rinzel got Park of Cottage Grove (3-2, 3-1) off to a great start in its 13-8 win over Mounds View (0-5, 0-4) on April 28. He had four goals and two assists in the first half to lead the Wolfpack to a 7-3 halftime lead. He finished the game with five goals and four assists. 

Top performer candidates

Preston Meier, Owatonna. Two of Meier's teammates had eight-point performances in Owatonna's (5-1, 4-0) 21-0 win over Rochester Century (0-5, 0-3) on April 26, and Meier one-upped them by racking up four goals and five assists. He added eight ground balls to round out a complete performance.

Eddie Kielkopf, Cretin-Derham Hall. Kielkopf led an impressive defensive effort by Cretin-Derham Hall (4-1, 3-1) on April 28, as he made 14 saves in an 11-3 win over Roseville (2-3, 1-3). The sophomore faced 17 shots in the game, good for a save percentage of .824. 

Aiden Hilger, Sartell/Sauk Rapids. Hilger was all over the scoresheet in a 20-3 win over Rocori (0-3, 0-1) on April 29. Hilger led Sartell/Sauk Rapids (2-3, 0-1) with a game-high seven goals and added four assists. This came after a four-goal, three-assist performance against Brainerd (1-4, 1-1) on April 27. 

Scott Greenshields, Mound Westonka. Mound Westonka (1-3, 1-1) outlasted Waconia (2-1, 0-1) 3-2 in a defensive stalemate on April 29. Greenshields was vitally important, as he held the Wildcats scoreless in the opening three quarters. He made 15 saves on 17 shots to give him an .882 save percentage for the game.
