And the winner is...MN Boys' Lacrosse Hub Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the top performer from May 10-15.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Lacrosse Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Brock Ollila, White Bear Lake. Ollila was nearly unbeatable in a 7-2 win for White Bear Lake (3-4, 2-3) against Roseville (4-6, 2-6) on May 11. The junior goalie recorded a .900 save percentage, as he stopped 18 of the 20 shots he faced. 

Top performer candidates

Brock Ollila, White Bear Lake. Ollila was nearly unbeatable in a 7-2 win for White Bear Lake (3-4, 2-3) against Roseville (4-6, 2-6) on May 11. The junior goalie recorded a .900 save percentage, as he stopped 18 of the 20 shots he faced. 

Joe Torborg, St. Cloud. Torborg did more than enough to beat Rocori (0-7, 0-2) by himself on May 13, as St. Cloud (7-2, 3-1) came away with an 18-1 victory. Torborg contributed on two-thirds of his team's goals, as he scored two himself and and assisted on 10 more for a 12-point performance. 

Turner Sternberg, Buffalo. Sternberg had season highs in goals (eight) and assists (five) in an 18-8 win for Buffalo (4-5, 0-5) over Delano/Rockford (4-4, 3-1) on May 13. This gives Sternberg 36 points this season, with 36 percent of them coming in this win. 

Gabe Rasmussen, Cretin-Derham Hall. Rasmussen set up his Cretin-Derham Hall (7-2, 6-2) teammates regularly in a 13-2 win over Forest Lake (2-8, 1-7) on May 15, as he had a season-high eight assists. He added four goals to give him 12 points in the win. He now has 27 assists this season, which is the most in the state. 

Tyler Smith, Duluth. Smith leads Duluth (7-2, 3-0) in points this season, and that was no different in its 22-12 win over Spring Lake Park (0-7, 0-5) on May 15. The junior attacker tallied four goals and six assists to add 10 points to his total this season.
