Top performer candidates

Logan Adams, Centennial: Adams holds the title of Minnesota’s leading scorer a little more than a week into the season, putting up 24 points in four games. The junior was fully on display in Centennial’s two wins this season, tallying nine points against Osseo/Park Center on April 17 and eight points against Anoka on April 19.

Gabriel Meisterling, St. Thomas Academy: Meisterling has had a busy start to the season, facing 43 shots on goal through two games. Fortunately for the Cadets, Meisterling has stopped 31 of those shots for a .721 save percentage.

Ricky Peterson, Maple Grove: Peterson has been the offensive spark behind Maple Grove’s undefeated start to the season. The sophomore has put up 13 goals and six assists to start 3-0.

Linus Toward, Shakopee: Toward has scored at least two goals in all four games he’s played this season. His standout performance of the season thus far was an eight-goal, two-assist game in a win against Breck on April 21.

Jaymeson Zackery, Eastview/Apple Valley: Zackery has already started five games this season and won four of them. In those four wins, Zackery made 24 saves and gave up 10 goals.
