Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Lacrosse Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email scores@nbcuni.com.
Kaden Baron, East Ridge: Baron started his week with a five-goal, two-assist performance in a 11-10 win against Irondale on May 3. The freshman followed that up with six goals and two assists two days later in a 17-5 win over Mounds View.
Daxton Bush, Chanhassen: The lowest number of points Bush registered in a game this week was six (five goals, one assist) in a 13-6 win against fellow top 10 team Maple Grove on May 5. In two other games this week, the state’s leading goal scorer combined to score nine goals and dish out seven assists in two wins for the Storm.
Hayden Clore, Duluth: Most players will go an entire season without registering nine points in a game. Clore did that twice this week, putting up four goals and five assists against Grand Rapids/Greenway on May 1, then eight goals and an assist against Hopkins/St. Louis Park on May 6.
Liam Gillard, Totino-Grace: Gillard put away six goals and set up four others in an 18-8 win against Andover on May 1. The senior racked up seven goals and five assists for the Eagles in two more wins later in the week.
Bennett Reinhard, Holy Family: Reinhard was a massive reason Holy Family came away with an 8-4 win over Southwest Christian/Jordan on May 1. The senior goaltender put up a .846 save percentage, as he stopped 22 of the 26 shots he faced to pick up the win.
