And the winner is...MN Boys' Lacrosse Hub Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the top performer from May 8-13.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Lacrosse Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email scores@nbcuni.com


Top performer candidates

Nicholas Doerfler, Roseville: Doerfler started his week by stopping 20 of the 25 shots he faced in a 17-5 win against Minneapolis on May 8. The freshman started two more games later in the week and made 14 saves in both of them. 

Blake Piscitiello, Lakeville North: Piscitiello enjoyed himself in a shootout against Prior Lake on May 9, as he racked up eight goals and an assist in a 19-12 win. The sophomore then racked up three goals and three assists in a win over Eastview/Apple Valley two days later. 

Rudolph Ruegemer, Sartell/Sauk Rapids: In two games last week, Ruegemer stopped 29 of the 39 shots he faced, allowing five goals in both of his wins for the Storm’n Sabres.

Rory Scanlon, Maple Grove: After scoring four goals and dishing out three assists in an 18-6 win against Totino-Grace on May 8, Sanlon one-upped himself with five goals and three assists in a 13-8 win over Robbinsdale Armstrong. 

Jacob Urbach, Hastings: All of Urbach’s saves were needed early last week, as he stopped 23 shots in a 14-12 win against Chaska on May 8. Then on May 10, the senior stopped 15 of the 24 shots he faced to lift the Raiders to a 10-9 win against St. Paul/Two Rivers.
