After coming out strong in the first half of Thursday’s game, Chanhassen needed overtime to fend off Eden Prairie in the Section 2 final at Chanhassen High School.

Tatumn Nyen scored the winner in overtime to propel the Storm to next week’s state tournament.

The Storm (13-3, 6-1) came out and looked the part of a No. 1 seed, jumping out to a 7-0 lead. Gabby Bjugan scored three of her team’s first four goals.
