In a back-and-forth battle on Saturday in Stillwater, Lakeville North's Nathan Long rose to the occasion.
The senior buried the game-winning goal in overtime to help the Panthers secure an 11-10 victory over Prior Lake in the Class 1A boys state championship.
It was Long's third and biggest goal of the game. Austin Winship, Quinn Power and Blake Piscitiello all tallied two goals for Lakeville North, and Carson Piscitiello added two assists.
