There was plenty of movement in the coaches' poll this week, as only two teams -- No. 1 Eastview and No. 3 Benilde-St. Margaret’s -- kept the same spot as last week.

Eagan (7-0-0) has yet to lose this season, helping the Wildcats climb to No. 2 in the rankings. They’ve tallied plenty of goals along the way, as their lowest scoring output in a game has been 11. Brandon Wurtz leads the team with 26 goals this season, which is the fourth-most in the state.

Eagan’s jump led to a fall for Eden Prairie (7-1-0), even though the Eagles won both of their games last week. They tumbled two places to No. 4, one spot ahead of No. 5 Prior Lake.

Maple Grove cracks the top 10 for the first time this season. Ranked No. 12 last week, the Crimson own an 8-0-0 record but have been tested this season, especially in their last two games -- narrow victories over No. 13 Anoka (11-9) and Andover (12-8). Jack Dungan leads Maple Grove in goals (24) and assists (13) this season.
