May 3

Maple Grove 11, Anoka 9. No.12 Maple Grove edged out No.10 Anoka. Brennan Davison led Maple Grove with four goals and an assist. Teammate Jack Dugan had a pair of scores and a pair of assists, and Carter Leising had a hat trick and an assist. Goaltender Frank Gates had nine saves in the win. Anoka’s Chandler Foerster netted a pair of goals and tallied two assists. Teammate Jack Savini had two goals and an assist, and goaltender Matthew Jordan had 11 saves. Maple Grove extended its winning streak to seven and stayed undefeated.

May 4

Eden Prairie 8, Edina 5. No. 2 Eden Prairie's five goal outburst in the second quarter gave it a comfortable lead, setting up the win. Spencer Rudrud scored twice and assisted twice, and teammate Connor Olson had a hat trick. Goaltender Noah Becker had seven saves. Edina’s Ben Gustafson had a pair of goals, and goaltender Luke Cohan had 16 saves.

May 4

Cretin-Derham Hall 10, Woodbury 9. Woodbury’s five goals in the fourth quarter weren’t enough to catch Cretin-Derham Hall. The Raiders led 9-4 going into the fourth quarter, and managed to hold on against a strong Woodbury attack. Jack Galle led the Raiders with five goals and an assist, and teammate Carter Steele contributed with a pair of assists. Goaltender Eddie Gaertner made 17 saves. Chase Schlorhaufer had a good night for Woodbury scoring four goals and assisting three. Teammate Jonah Kopinski tallied four goals, and goaltender Nate Sitzman made seven saves.

May 5

Monticello 12, Buffalo 11. Monticello held on for the win to extend its winning streak to three games. Monticello’s Riley McAlpine brought his season goal total up to 20, scoring four on the night and assisting two. Teammate Jacob Johnson contributed with four goals. Egan Mills had a good night for Buffalo with five goals and two assists. Tyler Braccini scored four goals, and had a pair of assists. Goaltender Christian Marschel made 26 saves.

May 6

Simley 11, Park of Cottage Grove 10. Leading goal scorer Carson Schwark scored five goals for Simley bringing his season total to 16. Teammate Peter Gorman scored a pair of goals and had three assists, and goaltender Matt Schaus had five saves. Park of Cottage Grove’s leading scorers Matt Moreland and Grant Glazier each scored a pair of goals and recorded a pair of assists. Goaltender Zakk Morse made 12 saves.

May 8

Hastings 18, Northfield 10. Hastings extended its win streak to three games after defeating Northfield. Leading scorer Noah Bzoskie led the Hastings offense with five goals and two assists. Tucker Houska tallied four goals and two assists, and Jack Arvidson had four goals and an assist. Northfield’s Chase Marlenee scored four times and had an assist, and teammate Nicholas Kvernmo tallied four goals. Goaltender Cristoph Tisdale had 11 saves.

May 9

Prior Lake 9, Lakeville North 7. The game was tied 6-6 going into the fourth quarter, but three goals from No.5 Prior Lake was enough to earn the win. Leading scorer Carter Collins scored three and had an assist, and teammate Devin Truso had a goal and an assist. Goaltender Tyler Wiederhoeft earned the win. Prior Lake now moves to 6-1. Leading scorer Matt Friesen had a hat-trick for No.9 Lakeville North, bringing his goal total up to 10 on the season. Teammate Luke Spanier had a goal and two assists.
