Girls' lacrosse Player of the Week revealed

Player of the Week winner

Maya QuigleyCretin-Derham Hall: Quigley had six goals in a win over White Bear Lake and tacked on three more in a victory over East Ridge. The junior forward has 24 goals this season.

Player of the Week candidates

Melissa Hosch, Columbia Heights: With 10 total goals, Hosch was a bright spot in back-to-back losses for the Hylanders. The sophomore has 34 goals on the season.

Eloise Cherian, Breck: Cherian led the Mustangs to three victories with a combined 10 goals and 13 points. The sophomore leads the Breck (9-1) in scoring with 27 goals.  

Ireland Olson, Mankato: The senior forward scored five goals in each of Mankato's victories over Big 9 Conference adversaries Rochester John Marshall and Rochester Mayo.

Emma Vogelgesang, Apple Valley: The Eagles extended their winning streak to four games with two victories last week, and Vogelgesang led the way with a total of seven goals and nine points.
