Boys Highlights: May 22-26

Prior Lake scored five times in the fourth quarter to force overtime against Rosemount, and won 10-9 in second overtime.

May 22

Tartan 9, East Ridge 3. Tartan notched at least one goal in each frame to improve to 10-2 on the season. Leading scorer Sam Lindahl led No. 10 Tartan with four goals, giving him 58 tallies on the season. Teammate Jacob Hartzell had a goal and an assist, and goaltender Jake Betz earned his 10th win of the season. Grant Woodward and Jack Mohler each scored their 15th goal of the season for East Ridge. (4-9)

May 23

Prior Lake 10, Rosemount 9 2OT. No. 8 Prior Lake scored in the second overtime to break the tie and earn the win, improving to 10-3 on the season. No. 7 Rosemount led 9-4 going into the fourth quarter, but Prior Lake tallied five goals to force overtime. Leading scorer Carter Collins notched five goals and assisted on one to bring his season total to 50 points. Teammate John Leffler contributed with a hat trick and goaltender AJ Wilson earned his fifth win of the season. Rosemount’s Jack Reber had a great night with four goals and three assists. Teammate Chris Giere recorded a pair of goals and an assist.

Edina 8, Holy Angels 6. Ramsey Bell scored three of Edina's eight goals against Holy Angels. Max Selle had a goal and two assists, and goaltie Wyatt Richards had 11 saves, earning the victory. Goaltender Will Harris had 15 saves for the Stars. Tom Martin and Spencer Sande provided the offense for the Stars with two goals apiece.

May 24

Elk River 10, Irondale 5. Elk River scored five in the first quarter and five in the fourth frame, earning the win and improving to 7-6. Leading scorer Hunter Kivley led Elk River with five goals and an assist, bringing his season goal total to 42. Teammate Kyle Carr contributed with a pair of goals and a pair of assists. Goaltender Cody Simon earned his seventh win of the season with 12 saves. Irondale’s Parker Freilberg had a goal and two assists, and Matt Brooks had a goal and an assist. Goaltender Ben Crandall had nine saves.

May 25

Tartan 8, Stillwater 5. No. 10 Tartan scored four goals in the fourth quarter to secure the win over Stillwater. Sam Lindahl and Jacob Hartzell each had three goals and an assist. Goaltender Jake Betz earned his 11th win of the season, and Tartan improved to 11-2. Tommy McGuire led Stillwater with a goal and two assists. Mason Green and Marcus Darby each had a goal for the Ponies.
