Hilary Duda of Minnetonka was named the girls Player of the Year as the state’s coaches selected their All State teams on Sunday, May 22.
Duda, a senior, scored 46 goals and added 28 assists to lead the Skippers. Minnetonka finished the regular season with a 10-3 record, earned the No. 2 seed on the Section 6 playoffs and is No. 4 in the Lax Hub’s final state rankings.
Among those joining Duda on the All State first team are juniors Christine Easton of Eden Prairie and Meghan Bauer of Blake.
Bauer leads No. 1-ranked and unbeaten Blake (11-0) in scoring with 72 points (48 goals, 24 assists).
Easton is the top scorer for Eden Prairie with 63 points. The Eagles are 10-1 and ranked No. 2 in the state.
Eden Prairie had four players on the All State first team while Blake and Stillwater each had two.
Blake’s Laura Mark was named Coach of the Year and Stillwater’s Brian Gould is the Assistant Coach of the Year.
