2018 girls' lacrosse all-tournament teams announced

After knocking off three-time defending state champion Eden Prairie in the state championship game on Saturday, Apple Valley learned four of its senior players were honored with a spot on the all-tournament team.

Forward Sophia Leong, midfielder Molly Moynihan and defender Brynne Rolland joined Eagles star midfielder Reagan Roelofs on the team.

After earning Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year honors this season, Roelofs capped off her historic career with 13 goals and six assists in the tournament. She finished her career with a state-record 518 points.

Eden Prairie also had four players on the team, led by sophomore midfield Maggie Brown. She had four goals and an assist in the title game, giving her 15 goals and five assists for the state tournament.

Minnehaha Academy eighth-grade midfielder Jaylen Rosga made the all-tournament team after scoring 12 goals and leading her team to the consolation championship.
