Homegrown Lacrosse is pleased to introduce U.S. Men's Senior National team Head Coach, Richie Meade, as our keynote speaker at the inaugural Captains' Cup Leadership Summit taking place on March 23, 2012 at the University of Saint Thomas, Saint Paul campus.

The goal of the Captains' Cup is to help coaches and players answer two simple but vital questions: As a player, what is my job as a captain and leader? And, as a coach, what standards do I set for my captains and leaders? Through two separate one-hour long seminars, we hope to provide insight, inspiration and answers that can help players and coaches enter the 2013 season with renewed vision, clarity and defined purpose.

"I have been fortunate enough to hear coach speak on multiple occasions at the US Lacrosse National Convention. His talks remind me why I coach and set the standard for the type of coach I want to be. I am incredibly excited and humbled by his willingness to support the Minnesota Lacrosse community. I could think of no better way to start the season or a better role model to present to our players, parents and coaches" (Aron Lipkin, Homegrown Lacrosse Executive Director).

Coach Meade will give three talks during his day in Minnesota. The event is free of charge thanks in large part to event partners, St. Thomas Men's Lacrosse, Minnesota Boys Scholastic Lacrosse Association, Northstar Lacrosse, Minnesota Lacrosse Association and MSHSL Coaches Association.  Registration for the event is required and available online by clicking here
